Kelleys Island for the weekend....

My new favorite shot of my husband. We were actually on the island, so I could work for a bit and he was so wonderfully patient and understanding!

This past weekend we had the opportunity to spend the weekend up on Kelleys Island, OH. It's amazing to me that you could travel hours and days and sometimes not beat the view that's in your own backyard that you forget about. I grew up going to the islands and could never get enough of them...there's nothing like the Great Lakes! So I thought I'd share a few of my favorite shots from the weekend...to the beautiful views to our cute B&B...I couldn't seem to put down the camera!

Meet Miss E, Mr. M, & Miss I.... Oh & Mommy too!

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting Miss E, Mr. M, & Miss I, along with their Mommy who looks like an older sister! I really had a lot of fun shooting this family....they were so easy going and great posers! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Props....

Sometimes the best props are those that you bring with you...not the ones in my studio, but rather your well loved and cherished items. We are HUGE soccer fans in our house....right down to the dog! This is his well loved "ballie" which he brought with him to the studio the other night while I was steaming backgrounds.

Meet Amber another one of the lovely Seniors I shot this past year. I was getting some graduation announcements ready and I realized I had never shared Amber's preview. (Amber came to the studio the night before her photos had to be in for the yearbook, so there was no sneak peek) Congratulations to all the wonderful Seniors I had the opportunity to work with this year as you are approaching graduation.

Back From Vacation.....

I've had the pleasure of being in New Orleans for the past week and a half....it is a photographer's paradise! I thought I would share a few of my favorite shots.

Mr. L & my new prop....

Mr. L & Mommy stopped by to pick up their picture order today...and I had just stumbled upon a new prop that I couldn't wait to try, so I asked the mom if I might borrow Mr. L for a minute.....so without further a do......my new prop:

I also snapped a few other shots of course, Mr. L is just too stinkin cute!

Modeling is A LOT of hard work!
Oh and this....not my prop...just a quick shot Mommy requested as a surprise for Daddy! (Note: I had nothing to do with this other than snapping the photo Dad!!!
